Summary: The following resource describes how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used in healthcare to fulfill its ethical ends to improve health. It discusses how governments have invested into AI primarily for health improvement purposes, and how there should be more caution exercised when it comes to data privacy. It made a good point that extensive training data is used to develop algorithms, but sometimes that data is not collected in a transparent way. It discusses trade offs for governments to use and collect and govern this data. I also liked the point about how too much investment in health AI may take away from resources for training doctors or having doctors work in collaboration with AI.
