Summary: The following article discusses how artificial intelligence (AI) models can be flawed considering humans are the ones behind making these models. The authors highlight how important the roles of the developers are when training an algorithm. Specifically this article is exploring AI ethics in the field of healthcare. Some of the ethical concerns include autonomy, transparency, accountability, equity, and responsibly AI. One suggestion made was to include a Data and Safety Monitoring Board to review the AI patient care. They also suggest that having guidelines regarding ethical AI will hold people accountable and reform the framework of AI.
