Summary: The following group is an organization that addresses the social implications and harms of artificial intelligence (AI) by raising public awareness about the impacts of AI and work with advocates and communities to mitigate AI bias and harms. They look at equitable and accountable AI, and are focused on human rights and harms caused by AI. Their values can be defined as follows: 1). Equitable: agency and control, affirmative consent, and centering justice by focusing on impermissible use; and 2). Accountable: meaningful transparency, continuous insight, and working on ways for people to contest and correct a harmful decision made by AI. One can join the organization and be an advocate in many different ways, including hosting workshops, amplifying voices of change, and working with their current organization for an algorithmic audit.
