Summary: The following article discusses how as artificial intelligence (AI) continues to integrate itself into the public more through different adoption methods, scrutiny is inevitable and in electronic arts (EAs) case they continue fielding legal cases over an implementation of AI technology in their video games to better engage the players. The legal case in these scenarios accused EA of manipulating its AI to influence their customers towards purchasing online add-ons which increases the company’s revenue. While EA has not been successfully sued over these situations, the customer backlash is extremely critical to consider when rolling out AI use cases in your company
