Summary: The following article discusses the Philosophy of Big Data which is a branch of philosophy that is concerned with the foundations, methods, and implications of big data. At the moment, the uses of big data and its nature lead to worries; can this giant amalgamation of information really represent its subject as a whole even thought it is divided into so many parts, and will its uses be a negative influence in the world by binning its subjects, which it necessarily must do. The hope is that human-data relations can help amplify human function by giving insight into each of us outside of binary classification models.
