Summary: The following book focuses on implementing ethical guidelines into data scientists’ daily work. The authors provide 5 framing guidelines: consent, clarity, consistency, control, and consequences. It is important that the authors address the whole cycle of data science. They address ethical issues throughout data collection, modeling, model implementation, and interpretation. It is also valuable that the authors provided a checklist that could be implemented in many settings. It will not play a drastic role if a small startup or a substantial data-driven corporation implements the guidelines.
