Summary: The following article discusses how ethics can be evaluated through many lenses. There are many different theories that all might sound a little right when heard by themselves but contradict dramatically. This article gives a little insight into how 4 ethical frameworks – Social Contract Theory, Virtue Ethics, Deontological Ethics, and Utilitarianism – would respond to a fictional data science situation asking for an ethical evaluation.
